SERVICES

The patients served are uninsured working adults and their families along with the unemployed who do not qualify for any type of government assistance programs, such as Medicaid or Medicare, or have no financial resources to pay for health care.

OIPCC is the only free clinic within our service area (northwest side of Chicago). By caring for individuals, we also directly impact their families. Healthy families in the community enable people to keep their jobs, further their education, and improve their quality of life. Further, we enrich the community by creating opportunities for community outreach to volunteers that support OIPCC.

OUR SPECIFIC SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Primary care, including nutritional support and diabetic counseling

  • Prescription medications from donated supplies and limited assistance in purchasing medications

  • Enrollment in our Medication Assistance Program (MAP) for free medicine

  • Routine lab work performed by a commercial lab paid for by OIPCC

  • Referrals to our “in house” specialists in cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, podiatry, rheumatology, musculoskeletal, nephrology and psychiatry

  • Referrals to specialists and other available resource facilities for consultation and treatment

  • Referrals to medical facilities for free additional laboratory and/or radiology testing when needed

  • Referrals to hospitals when surgery or in-patient care is needed

  • Echocardiography and cardiac stress testing to diagnose cardiac disease

  • Mental health and substance abuse assessments, evaluation and treatment referrals

  • Case management and short term brief resolution counseling; long-term counseling available upon evaluation

  • Retinal camera scans performed for eye disease screening, particularly for our diabetic patients

We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5 by appointment.

Please note, we require patients wear a mask while inside the Clinic.
